Festive menu on a budget 2014
Even in financially hard times, it is always possible to prepare a great holiday meal. One needs to select some not too expensive ingredients and find some special recipes, as those proposed in this menu. For less than $5 per serving, all of your guests will be delighted. And the price can be even lower if you use our tool, that allows you to compare supermarket flyers’ specials.
One additional bonus: Most of the dishes can be made in advance, so that you will not be stressed out before the arrival of your guests.
And you will have time to prepare a “savvy-chic” appetizer to be served with your cocktails: Coat some chickpeas with cumin, Cayenne pepper and grated parmesan cheese, then spread them on a baking sheet. Bake 50 minutes at 200°C/400°F and you are ready to go.
