March is the official month of nutrition. This campaign has been steadily growing since the early 1980s, and has now become one of Canada’s most successful social marketing campaigns. This year’s theme is: “Get the real deal on your meal!”

Indeed, nutrition information has never been more prominent and accessible than right now, however not all the information is credible. That’s the reason why Nutrition Month 2012 is dedicated to the most popular food and nutrition myths.

During the month, dietitians across Canada will bust up the most common food myths: Regarding the difference between multi-grain and whole grain, on the role of carbohydrates and dieting, about vitamins and mineral supplements, about energy drinks, and about 35 additional subjects, each one more interesting than the other.

All these myths will be published on our Pestoblog. Dont’miss any of them!
