Flyer’ Specials … a Good Deal?

March 11th 2013

This was the title of a TV report from Radio Canada’s show “L’Épicerie”, aired last Wednesday. Making the difference between the true bargains and the “booby-traps” is not always easy, and that’s were SOSCuisine can be a great resource to consumers.

Obviously, being featured in such a renowned show made us very proud and happy! There was just a small funny hitch: The name of our colleague Pierre Lamontagne has been inadvertently interchanged with that of Mr. Desautels, who was also interviewed ;)

SOS Cuisine recommended once more on Radio-Canada’s TV show L’Épicerie

January 14th 2013

Canadians are expected to pay more at the grocery store in 2013, especially for meat and eggs, according to a forecast by University of Guelph researchers. General food expenditures will increase between 1.5% and 3.5%, which means that a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, spending about $280 per week, should expect to spend close to $500 more this year.

‘I voted for you’

September 26th 2011

Femme_de_l'annee_smallNo, I’m not standing for the next elections… And yet, last Saturday while I was shopping at the Jean Talon Market, I was accosted thrice – and that too in the nicest possible way – by women who greeted me eagerly with the following words: ‘Ms. Cuneo, I voted for you’.

‘How’s that?’ you’re asking yourself. Well, it’s just that I had become one of the 25 finalists in the ‘Woman of the Year’ contest organised by Chatelaine.

Obviously I am thrilled. Not only to have been nominated but also to discover that there are people voting for me and taking the trouble to stop me in the street to tell me that! I guess this is what politicians dream of ;-)
