As Mother’s Day falls on this week, I’m going to recommend a festive and sophisticated dish that will allow you to make the most of the lobster season, right from the start.
I’m talking about the famous «Lobster Thermidor», which was created in 1894 at the Maire restaurant in Paris, as a homage to Victorien Sardou’s drama «Thermidor».
According to the French Revolutionary calendar, Thermidor («month of heat») was the eleventh month of the year, (from July 19 to August 17). You’ll notice that the recipe is extremely simple to follow and the end result is exquisite. Happy Mother’s Day!
