March is nutrition month in Canada. Since the early 1980s, dietitians from all over the country have been reminding us of the importance of a good diet and its positive effect on health and well-being.
Although many Canadians are convinced that they eat well, a survey has revealed that most of us struggle to make the right choices at the grocery store, and that too, at least half the time. The Nutrition Month 2013 campaign therefore aims to help us fill our shopping basket with healthy food.
The campaign slogan for this year is ‘Best Food Forward: Plan Shop Cook Enjoy’.
