Ingredients

2 cups green/snap beans   200 g
1 tbsp olive oil   15 mL
  salt to taste    
  ground pepper to taste    

Method

  1. Prepare the green beans and blanch them 7-8 min, until crisp-tender (al dente). Drain and shake out the water.
  2. Return the green beans to the pan, add the oil and salt and pepper to taste. Cook an additional couple minutes, with stirring, until the beans are lightly coloured. Serve.
