Ingredients

2 cups green/snap beans   200 g
1 tbsp butter, unsalted   14 g
1 pinch salt [optional]   0.1 g
  ground pepper to taste    

Method

  1. Prepare the green beans and blanch them 7-8 min, until crisp-tender (al dente). Drain and shake out the water.
  2. Return the green beans to the pan, add the butter and salt and pepper to taste. Cook an additional couple minutes, with stirring, until the butter is melted and the beans are lightly coloured and well coated with butter. Serve.
