Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil 15 mL
1/2 shallots, finely chopped 20 g
1 1/2 cup green kidney / flageolet beans (canned), drained and rinsed 375 mL
1 pinch salt [optional] 0.2 g
ground pepper to taste [optional]
1/2 tsp dried savory 0.4 g

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the finely chopped shallot and sauté 2-3 min until translucent, taking care not to let it burn.
  2. Drain and rinse the flageolet beans, then add them to the saucepan. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the savory. Warm up the mixture a few minutes, then serve.
