|300 g||mezze penne, or other short cut pasta||3 1/2 cups|
|2 tbsp||butter, unsalted||28 g|
|ground pepper to taste [optional]|
Before you start
Keep the serving plates in the oven at the lowest setting so they are warm when you serve.
Put a colander in the sink to drain the cooked pasta so that it will be ready when needed.
- Cook the pasta.
- Drain the pasta then put it immediately back in the pasta cooking pot with the butter. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and serve on the warmed plates.

It's kind of boring for Pasta. Just Plain Ol Pasta... nothing special... you don't really need a recipe for this, just boil pasta and that's it.
