Menus
Make sure that the anti-spam filters of your email service or Internet Service Provider (e.g. Aol, Hotmail, Sympatico, Videotron, Yahoo, etc.) do not block our emails. To prevent this from happening:
Hotmail users:
- Log on to your Hotmail account
- Go to your "junk email" box
- Click on the message sent from
- You will see a message saying: You may not know this sender.Mark as safe|Mark as unsafe
- Click on "Mark as safe"
- Verify that your message has been transferred to your Inbox
Sympatico users:
- Log on to your Sympatico account
- Go to your "junk email" box
- Click on the message sent from
- You will see a message saying: We've identified this mail as junk. Please tell us if we were right or wrong by clicking Junk or Not Junk
- Click on Not Junk Mail
- Click on "I want to add to my Safe List so future messages from this address will be delivered to my Inbox, not my Junk E-Mail Folder"
- Verify that your message has been transferred to your inbox.
Yahoo users:
- Log on to your Yahoo account
- Go to your "spam inbox"
- Click on the message sent from
- On the top, click on "not spam"
- Verify that your message has been transferred in your inbox.
In all cases, we suggest that you add to your contact list.
Please note that you don't need to wait for the weekly newsletter to access your Meal Plan. As soon as it's ready, it will appear in the "My SOSCuisine" section of the website.
- Sign in and click on My Meal Plan in the green 'sign in' dashboard, located at the right-hand side of the page.
- You will now see your menu for the week. Click on Modify if needed and you will obtain all of the recipes listed in alphabetical order.
- Simply check the boxes of the recipes you DO NOT want to keep.
- Once you are satisfied, click "Remove" at the bottom of the page and the recipes will be removed.
Directly from your Modify if needed page
You can add recipes directly within your Meal Plan:
- Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
- Click on the Modify if needed button in your Meal Plan.
- Then click on the "Add a recipe from my Cookbook" (indicated by the green plus sign).
- Once in your Cookbook, follow the next step.
From My Cookbook
You can add one or more recipes from your Cookbook to your Meal Plan.
- Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
- Select the recipes you would like to add by checking off the box located next to the recipe name.
- Once satisfied, click on the "Add to My Meal Plan" button.
From any recipe page
You can also add recipes directly from the page itself.
- Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
- If you are reading a recipe and decide that you want to add it to your Meal Plan, simply click on "Add to My Meal" plan in the dashboard on the right-hand side of the page (see below).
You can swap all recipes of a given meal in one shot, by clicking on the 'Swap Meal' button.
You will be able to choose among several alternative suggestions, compatible with the meal plan type you are subscribed to (e.g. gluten-free recipes if you are subscribed to the gluten-free meal plans), with the meal plan type (e.g. snack with snack and breakfast with breaskfast) and equivalent from a nutrition standpoint.
Erase your current Meal Plan
- Sign in to your Meal Plan and click on the Modify if necessary button.
- At the bottom of the page, select the checkbox next to the "Remove" button.
- Click the "Remove" button. Your Meal Plan has now been completely erased.
- Your meal plan is now empty.

Sign in and go to the Modify if needed page in your Meal Plan. You now have two options:
On the Modify if needed page:
- If you don't mind eating more of a recipe already listed in your Meal Plan, you can simply change the serving amounts.
- If you want to try something new, please see the FAQ question titled "How can I add recipes to my Meal Plan?"
- Sign in and go to My Meal Plan by selecting it from the green dashboard on the right-hand side of the page (see below).
- Click on the Modify if needed page and you will obtain all of the recipes of the week listed in alphabetical order.
- Click the checkbox next to the "Remove" button. This will select all of the recipes in your Meal Plan. Then click the "Remove" button.
- Your meal plan has now been cleared! You can now start building your own meal plan.
- Under the Modify if needed page, you will see a button at the bottom that says "Reset".
- Click it and your original meal plan will reappear.
The Eat Local meal plan takes advantage of local products, i.e. food that is locally-grown, -raised or -harvested. For Canada, it only makes sense to do so from May to October.
