FAQ

When you click on the Recipe Advanced Search page, you are able to specify exactly what type of recipes you want to try.

On the page, there are four main sections:
Section 1 - the left-hand side of the page. It contains the following drop-down menus:

• Course / Purpose
• Preparation Method
• World Cuisine
• Special Occasion
• Main Ingredient
• Active time
• Start to finish time
• Ingredient count
• Difficulty
• Cost per serving

Section 2 - Preferences. Check off the boxes that fall under any personally applicable categories.

Section 3 - Health/Nutrition criteria. Check off the health or nutrition criteria you want your recipe search to yield.

Section 4 - Exclusions. Check off the foods you do not want in your search results and/or type in foods you want excluded from your search.

• Sign in and click on My Meal Plan in the green 'sign in' dashboard, located at the right-hand side of the page.
• You will now see your menu for the week. Click on Modify if needed and you will obtain all of the recipes listed in alphabetical order.
• Simply check the boxes of the recipes you DO NOT want to keep.
• Once you are satisfied, click "Remove" at the bottom of the page and the recipes will be removed.

Directly from your Modify if needed page

You can add recipes directly within your Meal Plan:

1. Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
2. Click on the Modify if needed button in your Meal Plan.
3. Then click on the "Add a recipe from my Cookbook" (indicated by the green plus sign). Once in your Cookbook, follow the next step:
   

From My Cookbook

You can add one or more recipes from your Cookbook to your Meal Plan.

1. Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
2. Select the recipes you would like to add by checking off the box located next to the recipe name.
3. Once satisfied, click on the "Add to My Meal Plan" button.

From any recipe page

You can also add recipes directly from the page itself.

1. Please make sure that you are signed in to the site with your username and password.
2. If you are reading a recipe and decide that you want to add it to your Meal Plan, simply click on "Add to My Meal" plan in the dashboard on the right-hand side of the page (see below).

You can swap all recipes of a given meal in one shot, by clicking on the 'Swap Meal' button.

You will be able to choose among several alternative suggestions, compatible with the meal plan type you are subscribed to (e.g. gluten-free recipes if you are subscribed to the gluten-free meal plans), with the meal plan type (e.g. snack with snack and breakfast with breaskfast) and equivalent from a nutrition standpoint.

• Sign in with your username and password.
• Start browsing for recipes. When you find a recipe you want to add, look at the dashboard on the right-hand side of the page (see below).
• Click "Add to my Cookbook" and the recipe will be added directly to your Cookbook.
  

1. Sign in and go to the Modify if needed page in your Meal Plan.
2. Select the desired number of servings for any of the recipes.
3. Click "Save".
4. Your Grocery List will reflect these changes.
   

Tips:

• If you know that you won't be home one night, you can put the serving amount to "0". This will eliminate the recipe ingredients from your Grocery List.
• Alternately, if you know you are having people over for dinner one night, you can increase the number of servings for a recipe. Your Grocery List will reflect these changes.
