SOS Cuisine is a personalized service which provides recipes, menus, grocery lists and meal planning features, according to your own preferences. This is why the system needs to recognize you each time you sign in with your unique username and password, which you choose upon signing up. Signing up is free, easy and quick.

There is no cost whatsoever to sign up and use the services currently offered by SOS Cuisine. To do so, click here and follow the instructions. It is free, easy and quick.

The free Meal Plans cover one meal a day, 5 days a week. Each meal includes a starter, a main course with or without side dish, and a dessert. These are definitely healthy meals, but they are not tailored to specific conditions and obviously can’ meet all daily nutritional needs. See the complete list.

Premium Meal Plans cover all daily meals (main meals and snacks), for every day of the week. In addition, they meet all the nutritional recommendations specific to each condition. This way, you’re sure to eat in the best possible way to be healthy and achieve your goals. You should have received a confirmation email shortly after signing up, with the instructions to activate your account. If you did not receive it, contact us, mentioning your username and email address and we can help.

You need to activate your account in order to benefit from the personalized service. This is a standard procedure used to verify your email address and confirm that you’re the one who signed up for the service.

Within minutes after signing up, a confirmation email is sent (*to the email address that you specified. To activate the account, simply click on the confirmation link included in this email.

If your email system is not configured for HTML links, you can copy and paste the entire link, even if it spreads over two lines, into an Internet browser window, instead of clicking it.

Make sure that the anti-spam filters of your email service or Internet Service Provider (ex. AOL, Hotmail, Sympatico, Videotron, Yahoo!, etc.) are not blocking our emails. To prevent this from happening:

Hotmail Users:

  1. Log on to your Hotmail account
  2. Go to your “junk email” box
  3. Click on the message sent from 
  4. You will see a message saying: You may not know this sender. Mark as safe | Mark as unsafe
  5. Click on “Mark as safe”
  6. Verify that your message has been transferred to your Inbox

Sympatico users:

  1. Log on to your Sympatico account
  2. Go to your “junk email” box
  3. Click on the message sent from 
  4. You will see a message saying: We’ve identified this mail as junk. Please tell us if we were right or wrong by clicking Junk or Not Junk
  5. Click on Not Junk Mail
  6. Click on “I want to add  to my Safe List so future messages from this address will be delivered to my Inbox, not my Junk E-Mail Folder”
  7. Verify that your message has been transferred to your inbox.

Yahoo Users:

  1. Log on to your yahoo account
  2. Go to your “spam inbox”
  3. Click on the message sent from 
  4. On the top, click on “not spam”
  5. Verify that your message has been transferred in your inbox.

In all cases, we suggest that you add  to your contact list.

Please note that you don’t need to wait for the weekly newsletter to access your menu. As soon as it’s ready, you can access it by signing in and clicking on My Meal Plan.

  • Click on “forgot your sign-in info?” in the green ‘sign in’ dashboard, located at the right-hand side of the page (see below). Enter your email address in the box. You’ll then receive an email with your current username and a new temporary password.
  • Then, sign in using this username and temporary password.

  • Click on “Forgot your sign-in info?” in the green ‘sign in’ dashboard, located at the right-hand side of the page (see below). You’ll then receive an email with your current username and a new temporary password.
  • Sign in using your username and this temporary password. Click on the My SOSCuisinetab. Click on My Profile, below the tabs or in the green dashboard. You’ll be able to change your password.

Your username is the only thing that cannot be changed. If you forgot it, read the question I forgot my username.

  • Sign in with your username and password.
  • Click on the My SOSCuisine tab, then click on My Profile, below the tabs.
  • You can also access your profile from the green ‘sign in’ dashboard, located at the right-hand side of the page (see below). Look for “email” and enter in the email address you would like to be associated with your profile.

  • Sign in with your username and password.
  • Click on the My SOSCuisine tab.
  • Click on My Profile, below the tabs.
  • Look for “Preferred language” and select English.

If you do not see your favourite and/or local grocery store on our table of items on special, here are some steps you can take:

  • Go to your local grocery store and speak with the general manager or owner of the store.
  • Ask why the store is not collaborating with SOS Cuisine. We thrive on word of mouth support!
  • If the owner/manager expresses interest, simply tell them to contact us.
  • We will then work out an agreement to start showing the specials from the store’s flyer on the website.
