Andrea D'Ambrosio

Andrea D’Ambrosio is a Registered Dietitian and owner of Dietetic Directions, a nutritional counselling and education company in Waterloo. Andrea’s mission is to inspire clients through motivation and guidance to achieve life-long health behaviour changes. She earned her undergraduate degree in Applied Human Nutrition from University of Guelph and also completed her Master of Applied Nutrition degree there.

Registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) and a member of Dietitians of Canada (DC), Andrea has taken continuing education in the areas of Food Allergy and Food Hypersensitivity, Health Research Literacy, Motivational Interviewing & Coaching for Behaviour Change. Andrea is also a National Media Spokesperson for Dietitians of Canada.

Bernard lavallée

Bernard Lavallée is a registered dietitian and author of the blog Le nutritionniste urbain. Specialized in communication and science popularization, he works at Extenso, the nutrition’s center of reference from Université de Montréal.

He works and creates content in food and nutrition for companies, consults for the food industry, offers lectures and conducts scientific reviews. His aim is to exploit all forms of communications to reach consumers. He is working on his first book derived from his blog to be published in 2015 by Parfum d’encre editions.

A mother of two young children and simply brimming with ideas, she wants to share all the food and nutritional tips that can make a difference between an active and energetic life and one that is marred by fatigue and illness.

A mother of two young children and simply brimming with ideas, she wants to share all the food and nutritional tips that can make a difference between an active and energetic life and one that is marred by fatigue and illness.

He is a regular collaborator to various French and English magazines such as the Natural Medicine Journal, Drugstore Canada, Quebec Pharmacie, Vitalité Quebec Mag, Alive Magazine, etc. He is regularly in the media across Canada and the US, Radio Canada, LCN, Global TV, Shaw, etc. Follow his work on www.jydionne.com and www.apothicaire.ca. Jessica Allaire-Morin, Dt.P.

A former gymnast and professional acrobat, Jessica soon discovered the pleasure of being active and eating properly. With her sports background, she began her studies in nutrition at the University of Montreal and is now part of the Ordre Professionnel des Diététistes du Québec since 2010.

Jessica is dynamic and passionate, and enjoys sharing her positive energy and knowledge with different audiences. Her many experiences in communication while organizing public conferences and workshops on nutrition make her an outstanding communicator.

Joëlle Emond, Dt.P.

Joëlle Emond, Dt.P.

Passionate about good food and health, Emond always finds a way to stir the desire to cook and eat healthier! A good communicator, we can read her suggestions in various media (SOSCuisine, La Presse, TVA Nouvelles, Clin d’Œil) and watch her on television (Finding Stuff Out, Working it Out Together Season 2, Pour emporter). She is the founder of 123Nutrition, a company through which she delivers presentations about healthy eating for organizations and businesses. As well, Joëlle inspires her Facebook followers to change the way they eat, one tip at a time!

She is also part of the large Nutrisimple team and is responsible for the outpatient nutrition clinic at Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre within the native population. Emond was co-winner of the Blé d’or General Mills award in 2012 for her “Eat like a Champ!” project introducing the basics of sport nutrition to youths in Kahnawake. This annual award presented by the Ordre professionnel desdiététistes du Québec and General Mills recognizes members who have distinguished themselves through the quality of activities they have organized to promote good nutrition.

The basis of my approach is to gradually modify the eating habits of my clients while taking into consideration the particularities of each individual situation.

Eating well for pleasure and health is the goal.

I believe that wholesome eating begins with a return to simplicity. I have a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Montreal and have offered nutrition counselling ever since. It has now been 10 years!

Virginie Bales

Virginie Bales

Certified member of the French Association of Dietitians-Nutritionists, where she was Vice-President for 4 years, Virginie is passionate about psychology and its impact on eating behaviour. She developed expertise in nutrition coaching with special interest in childhood obesity. Aware of the contemporary issues in nutrition, she subsequently decided to specialize in the nutritional management of patients suffering from renal failure and type I diabetes.

She is an active member of the Paris diabetes network, the Saint Louis Breast Center Network, the Institut Curie Breast Center Network, the RéNIF network and the Néphropar network.
