2 slices bread 70 g
1/2 clove garlic
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil 10 mL
1 avocados 170 g
2 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1/4 lemon
1 pinch salt 0.1 g
ground pepper to taste [optional]
1 pinch paprika 0.1 g
3/4 tsp pumpkin seeds 2 g


  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high. Oil the rack.
  2. Brush the bread slices on both sides with oil then grill about 1 to 2 min on each side. Rub the grilled bread with garlic. As an alternative: Grill the bread in a toaster, then rub it with the garlic and drizzle with oil.
  3. Cut the avocados in half and remove the stone, then cut the flesh into slices. Portion out the avocado slices on top of the bread. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with pumpkin seeds then serve.
