Pizza and giant picnic in Montreal’s Little Italy

You may not have had the chance to visit Italy this year, but you may experience a little bit of “dolce vita” right here in Montreal, starting tomorrow until Sunday 23rd.

Two gastronomic events are organised in our own Little Italy:

Pizza Week Montreal’s Little Italy – September 15 to 23

For more than a week, in some 15 restaurants, pizzerias and bakeries, guests can enjoy one or more pizzas with discounts and special offers. This is an opportunity to rediscover this vibrant neighborhood and to taste old and new flavors of this wonderful Italian invention! And of course you are welcome to discuss whether pizza should be eaten with your hands or with fork and knife…!

Shamrock en fête – The giant picnic – September 22 from 11 h to 15 h

In the context of the week “In town without my car”, a giant picnic on a 4000 square feet grass field is organised, close to Jean Talon market. Family activities are planned: public tasting of Italian specialties and local products, animation for kids, soccer fields, musical scenes, etc.
