Ingredients

3 apples, peeled then cut into 5 mm slices 550 g
2 tbsp butter, unsalted 28 g
1 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon 5 g
1 cup whipping cream 35% 250 mL

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C/400°F.
  2. Peel the apples, remove and discard the cores, then cut them into 5 mm slices. Butter an oven-safe dish. Arrange the slices into the dish, then sprinkle them with cinnamon. Add the butter in small pieces. Bake 12-15 min.
  3. Meanwhile, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Serve the apple with the whipped cream.
