1 cucumbers, medium size, cut into thin rounds 260 g
2 tomatoes, sliced 240 g
2 tbsp Classic Vinaigrette 30 mL
1 pinch salt [optional] 0.2 g
ground pepper to taste [optional]
1 tbsp chives, fresh [optional] 3 g

Before you start

A mandolin will make slicing the cucumber easier.


  1. Peel the cucumbers, slice them into rounds and sprinkle them with salt. Let them drain a few minutes.
  2. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on the individual plates. Add the cucumbers.
  3. Pour the classic vinaigrette over the salad. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped chives and serve.

I've made this several times already and it's delicious every time. The only thing I add is about a tbsp of just gives it a little sumpin-sumpin' extra...:)
