«Yakitori» is the name of these chicken skewers in Japan. I have adapted the original marinade recipe by replacing «sake» and «mirin» (both are alcoholic beverages made from rice) with lemon juice and water.

Absolutely loved it!
very easy to burn. watch it like a hawk! I'd use chicken breast or other chicken chunks, because it was very time consuming to get off the bone
I was hoping that it would be tastier and juicier. I cooked the chicken to 180 and then removed it from the BBQ. Not sure what I did wrong. My guests brought spinach dip and it helped to mix the chicken with that...
