Easy, quick and yummy!
I liked this recipe -- I made it with pre-cooked bratwurst, since my wife prefers them to Italian sausage. I also threw in several whole cloves of garlic which got all roasty and delicious, as well. I needed to cook the whole deal an additional 10 minutes, though, to get my --very small1-- halved potatoes to be done all the way through.
This recipe is so easy to make and extra delicious! My 17 year old daughter, who generally doesn't like sausage, loved this. I used the sausage meat just squeezed out of the casing in meatball-sized lumps. So easy!
Tasty and quick recipe! As suggested by other reviewers, I boiled the sausages for 5 mins before adding them to the veggies. Even my 9 month old ate a very good portion.
Tasty, hearty, and easy to prepare - ideal for a weeknight. As suggested by other reviewers, I boiled the sausages (piercing them several times with a fork beforehand) for 5 min before combining them with the other ingredients and placing them in the oven. It worked as planned; the dish was ready after 50 min. and the sausages were well-cooked and slightly browned. I made this dish with a mix of red and yellow pepper, but I found the yellow bites to be superior as they were sweeter.
