Sports nutrition for better hockey performance
In order to improve your sports performance, you need to not only train, but also know what to eat and drink when, before and after the exercise. And each type of sport has its peculiarities.
At last, a book that helps hockey fans and their families make better food choices and perform better. Using clear and straightforward language, “The Nutrition Edge for Hockey Performance” is written in a question and answer format and is meant for any hockey player, young or old, who wants to improve their performance on the ice.
The authors, Pearle Nerenberg and Margot Lacoste place their technical skills (Pearle is a registered dietitian with an expertise in sports nutrition and Margot is a retired dietitian) and practical experience (Pearle is a former NCAA player and Margot is a “hockey mom” of 4) at the service of the players (and coaches too).
