We all know it, physical activity offers a myriad of benefits for cardiovascular health, and, surprise surprise, these extend to digestive health too! Indeed, getting regular exercise (around 30 minutes of moderate physical activity each day, everyday) will help make your bowel movements more regular. As well as improving intestinal regularity, physical activity is linked to a lower risk of colon cancer1.
